I am a Mexican-American that comes from immigrant parents and have lived in the Twin Cities, MN since I was one year old. I learned from a young age how to navigate my intersectional worlds like a dance. My artwork has become that dance, with ceramics, painting, and paper. It is a conversation or storytelling that mirrors the way I communicate; movement follows form, or form movement. Currently, I am at Penland School of Craft, NC in the Core Fellowship program expanding my craft and knowledge.
