Provided Materials: cover weight papers for covers, prepared text blocks, awls, needles, threads for sewing, papers for cutting stencils, pencil/eraser, rulers, bone folders, thread/needle, scissors, x-acto knives/blades, stamp pads, stencils, brushes, cutting matts, or thick cardboard

Join Mary Beth for this fun workshop focusing on using color and pattern to design and sew pamphlet journals. Participants will make a few paper stencils. They will use these to print a small suite of stenciled prints to use as covers for pamphlet journals. I will demonstrate cutting and folding the covers. Once these are completed; participants will learn how to combine their covers with folded text blocks and sew them together into simple and elegant pamphlets. These will make great journals to hold creative endeavors (and give as gifts if you can part with them)!
