The Heart symbol is a universal symbol for love. During this workshop we will explore the heart symbol with quick warm up drawings and collages using shape, pattern, and color. We will also experiment with cutting various heart shapes. I will share several simple one page books and participants will make a suite of these books. They will then cut, draw, and collage various colored and patterned heart shapes to use within their own book. The completed book will be an homage to each participant’s beliefs about love. Finally, a cover will be completed and added to this book. These creations can be used as gifts for someone special on Valentine’s Day!
