Gina DelVecchio is the artist and illustrator behind La Strana Studio. La Strana means “strange” in Italian and is something that we can called as a term of endearment by her grandparents. Originally from New England and now living in Minnesota, Gina is a self taught artist and sculptor who creates paintings and stickers that are whimsical and a little spooky, colorful and a little dark at the same. Her sticker collection is rooted in the things she loves: cute and funny animals, childhood nostalgia and pop culture. 

Gina’s artwork is inspired by her love of animals and all things retro and kitsch. Every piece tells part of the lore she has created around the subjects of her paintings and illustrations. Let the art take you to a place that’s a little bit nostalgic and maybe a little bit haunted too.
