MAXWELL RASOR

I am a Texas-based artist and I primarily make sculptures out of wire. Because my father made wire sculptures with me on his lap as a kid, I have been exposed to wire art for my whole life. I started making things when I was around 4 or 5 years old. Wire isn’t historically a well-represented material for making artwork, but I think it makes some really unique 3D line drawings. I freehand everything that I make, so no two sculptures ever turn out exactly the same. Taking something as simple as a strand of wire and creating an intricate sculpture with it is one of my favorite things to do and I love being able to share that with people.
