"I am a "Native Appalachian". Traditionally, we have always created what we required to function daily. So, to create art is a continuation of tradition that has been handed down through the generations. I find inspiration in Nature; and in my opinion, Nature is the ultimate artist.
My main focus is fusing glass. The simplicity of the process is very spontaneous. The fusing of glass dates back to the ancient Phoenicians and was not revived until the 1980s. I believe in clean-cut design and crisp color. To me, this style speaks volumes.
