BIJOU GRAPHIQUE
I began making jewelry as a teenager in the 1970s at the Cleveland Institute of Art. I have a BFA in painting and drawing and worked professionally and artistically in the mediums of bookbinding and photography. My interest in metalwork was re-ignited in 1995, at which time I combined my interests in jewelry and photography, continuing to practice my crafts for the past twenty years.
On display at Visual Index is a collaboration with Jenny Mendes. The simplicity of black and white highlights the wonderful artwork of ceramics artist Jenny Mendes.
